01Her story

Yolanda Chauca has spent more than twenty-five years at the sewing machine. She works alone, by hand, in a quiet atelier on Buford Highway, measuring, cutting, pinning and finishing every piece herself. It is a craft fewer people practise each year, and she gives it to the dresses that matter most.

04How it works

From the first meetingto the final fitting.

  1. 01

    Consultation

    We sit down together in the atelier. Bring the dress, a sketch or a photograph, and we talk through the day, the fabric, the fit and the time you have.

  2. 02

    Fitting

    Yolanda measures and pins the garment on you, so every change is marked on your body and never guessed.

  3. 03

    Made by hand

    The work is done in the atelier by Yolanda herself. Nothing is sent out, and nothing is rushed.

  4. 04

    Final fitting

    You try it on once more. The last touches are made, and the piece is pressed and ready for your day.

In our care

Your garment never leaves the atelier. Between fittings it is kept pressed, covered and hung, handled by Yolanda alone, and it goes home only with you.
